About Us

Pam began tutoring in 2004 while earning her B.S. in biology and minor in chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. When she moved to Oklahoma, she continued teaching with her husband Kamran (who has a B.S. in civil engineering and also tutored while at UCO Math Lab), the two continued to tutor in the evenings after their respective day jobs and on weekends. Over time, their students’ consistent testing and academic successes helped them grow their passion into Master Tutoring in 2008.

More than just improving subject knowledge, Master Tutoring teaches success skills. We help students create study strategies that work best for them, so they can carry those tools throughout their education. 

Getting help doesn’t have to be stressful. Our teaching methods are tailored to encourage each student’s strengths and improve their weaknesses. We tutor our students 1-on-1 through Skype at the comfort of their homes. We can also have classes at different states or schools when requested from us!

Our program has been based 100% on word-of-mouth referrals. Each new student has heard of us from a successful student we worked with in the past. Because we are so dedicated to giving each student individual attention, we’ve also gained the trust and recommendation of many local high school counselors—especially when it comes to ACT and SAT test preparation. We can help elementary, middle school, high-school age students on all the subjects including math, science, reading, writing, ACT, SAT, and PSAT test prep.  whether helping students with their ACT and SAT test scoring for college entrance and scholarships or doing academic tutoring, we tutor one-on-one and in small groups.
